Photo Gallery Style: Alcázar
A collection of some of the most beautiful "Alcázar" professional photographs & prints I've taken over the years. Please note there may be multiple pages of photographs so keep scrolling or look for the "Older Posts" button!
The beautiful dome ceiling in the Salón de Embajadores, with its intricate interlaced wooden patterns (a style called Artesonado) has led to the room being known as the Hall of the Half Orange. The dome, meant to symbolize the universe, was added to the Hall of Ambassadors in 1427.
The Alcázar of Seville is one of the oldest royal palaces still in use in Europe, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
