Photo Gallery Style: Bristlecone Pines
A collection of some of the most beautiful "Bristlecone Pines" professional photographs & prints I've taken over the years. Please note there may be multiple pages of photographs so keep scrolling or look for the "Older Posts" button!
Bristlecone Pines are some of the oldest living organisms on earth, with the oldest living one being the “Methuselah” at nearly 4,800 years old. These trees typically die in portions; roots will become exposed, dry, and die. The tree begins to develop the twisted look seen in this shot as the tree slowly dies from the bottom-up.
