Bristlecone Pines are some of the oldest living organisms on earth, with the oldest living one being the “Methuselah” at nearly 4,800 years old. These trees typically die in portions; roots will become exposed, dry, and die. The tree begins to develop the twisted look seen in this shot as the tree slowly dies from the bottom-up.

Love it man! Really cool.
Great foreground element. Love the drama the b/w gives, too.
