The Portsmouth Museum of Art is currently exhibiting six international artists, and evidence of their presence is noticeable in the street art scattered across downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire.<\/p>\n

Below is some of the work of the German duo, Herakut<\/em>. Their work is heavily influenced by poetry, and the two have the unusual style of working separately on the same paintings; they are often working on multiple pieces at the same time, continually taking breaks from a given work to allow the other take over — a process that allows each to embrace the work done previously, and inspiring the direction the art takes as it works towards its final state.<\/p>\n
